today. Want to see a team that looks better prepared with a lot more fight in them to start. More emphasis on the run game on O and then on D Bowens has to have a plan as Daniels will look to run.
Laughing stock for a number of reasons. How many times will we see game where Giants don't have a PR or kicker or (fill in the blank). In a game today that could well be decided by FGs, to not have an actual, experienced kicker defies explanation (and I don't count Gillan).

Hard to get a read on round 2 of Gano's warmups. He usually does game-like kicks with Kreiter snapping to Gillan in both directions. But he only went in one direction today. Looked like he was wide right from 51 and 50 to finish. That's shorter than his typical long attempts.
Then he didn't even warmup in the other direction, but that's probably just because the rest of the players were coming out to stretch and his detour the locker room limited his time to warm up. Didn't seem like a great process, however it turns out.

That would probably be a good thread - which organizations appear to be dumber than the Giants org?
I guess it was hasty and wrong for me to say I hope WFT wins. Once kickoff, I’ll inevitably pull for the Giants because it is in my blood.
But I am not going to be crying if we lose.
Yeah, a lot of us are conflicted, and with good reason. It's the constant tug of war between the heart and the mind. I haven't made up up my mind yet, but there's a good chance this game will decide my rooting interests on the season. Give us something to root for, or we root for change, is how I see it.

and look bad is mind blowing behavior. I get the premise of wanting a regime change is one thing, but watching the games and rooting for the team you follow to get embarrassed is serial killer type shit. Go take the kids to the park or do something else

Didn't listen just saw the banner at bottom: "Ease him into action". What does that mean?
Isn't that what preseason is for? You're supposed to use ALL OF CAMP to be ready for Game 1. Teams prep for opening day all camp.
I keep saying it, Daboll is a problem.
It means they are going to try to establish the run and use easy-to-complete patterns rather than calling three 7-step drop, slow-developing plays on the first series and give the Wash D-line the opportunity to crush him.
It used to be the way most teams started games. Whether it will work is the question.

Now Jamie Gillan just took one practice kick and Gano did not look comfortable. Looked like he stopped his warmups short and headed inside.
This bizarre personnel shit is soooo reminiscent of last year.
it's not as hard when their #1 corner is st juste, their #2 corner who was trending bust just got surgery, and his replacement is a declared bust who has now been on 3 teams in 3 years and graded lower than #1/#2.
if they cant get the offense going this week leave everyone in washington.
Agreed. And for a team with two good DTs - at least on paper - they struggle to get a pass rush.
Clelin Ferrell isn't the solution to replace Montez Sweat.
the scary thing is recent history has dan quinn doing better vs daboll/kafka than flores' track record.
With pro bowlers and all pros at pass rush and secondary, that is not surprising.
quinns all pro db hit IR last year in preseason (diggs) and he developed another one out of nowhere (bland).
commanders secondary appears to blow but so did minnesota's - who also lost one of their starters to IR this past preseason. bobby wagner was still playing well last year. we've seen payne and allen beat us before. luvu is a good player. quinn brought a bunch of players over from dallas like armstrong who've beat us before.
hope for the best but after last week im expecting the worst from here forward.

if this regime was in a confirmed death spiral, what would look different?

Bizarre to you perhaps. I want this entire operation-Schoen, Dabs, Jones-gone. The uglier it gets, the more likely it happens.
I prefer to see improvement
You’re rooting for the team to regress
To each his own… I guess
The difference is one person wants something that is within the realm of possibility, while you want something that does not.

Seeing improvement in the overall team is beyond the realm of possibilities?
WTF?
I want the Giants to lose enough that they get rid of Jones, and win enough that they keep Daboll.
If some how Schoen could get a job in the league office and jam, that would be ideal.
We have to come to a realization that Daboll may be as big of a problem as Jones. A Bad QB like Jones can set back a franchise - but so can a coach.
He’s in the running as the worst coach in the league.
I think this is the company line, but I can't fathom they actually believe it.
But I am not going to be crying if we lose.

#Giants Graham Gano's status (groin) is a big thing today in what should be a low-scoring close game.
He ended up finishing up his warm-up through the discomfort.
But he did not kick well through an injury last season.
You'd like to think they learn from past mistakes.

Is it a watchable game today?
Or another Sunday you wished you had done something else for 3 hours?
Well considering it's not on in CT, I feel my decision has been made for me
That barrier is not insurmountable.
I'll end up watching it, just bitchy about it because it's only week 2 and there is already a conflict

Enjoy Bruce today. Should be a great show!
HUH?? HOF?
The guy has not been a top 20 WR at any point in his career.
I know there was a penalty but this is why our coaching staff sucks ass.
UFB.
And now Gano is hurt again. So great we didn't active the PS kicker.
they cant even get basic injrues to a K right.
its embarrssing.
Hahahahahaha
Joke

Too bad. A Giants legend. Maybe the best player we've had since OBJ. Not even gonna lie.
Dexter Lawrence?
