1. How do they enter the game with Gano as the only locker?
2. Once he's hurt, how do you play defense in such a way as to invite Washington into FG range before tightening up? How did they not adjust their overall gameplay accordingly?
For all the guys that wouldn't consider Belichick next year, does anyone think he handles the game with such stupidity and disrespect for the kicking game?
By the way, it should be reiterated that Washington is one of the very worst teams in the NFL.
This team is going to start like 1-8, then win enough games to bring everyone back.

I'd hire Belichick tonight. The arrogance for this shit franchise to dismiss him. We can't think about super bowls now, how about consistent competence.
It was idiocy to go into a game with an injured kicker and an open roster spot instead of activating the PS kicker.
Daboll is absolutely not the guy.
Are you a doctor?
The poster doesn’t need to be.
What are the relative $$$ to have a healthy practice squad kicker on the roster?
Especially for a team that is adverse to scoring TDs?
It is negligent and malfeasant to have that be the kicking situ when you go into the game with 52 active players. Doesn’t matter if Gano is affected by an amputation or a hang nail. Not addressing it is blantent stupidity irregardless of a medical degree or not.
He was obviously told he can play and showed it in practice. Oh and this was a completely separate injury than the groin.
Here is why it means diddily SQUAT that it wasn't the groin. You have a kicker that was banged up all week, and was injured the year before (which burned you) and you don't have ANY backup ready? At ALL!? ARE YOU SERIOUS!?
Knows a whole lot more about football than his dad.
He gave his dad great advice draft day on Hard Knocks.
Joe seems like a good dude. But I hope he's fired after this season. This is YEAR THREE under Schoen & the best two dudes on the team were drafted by his predecessor.

Daboll doesn’t respect ST and it will cost him his job
And I said before the game that it was moronic to play a kicker with a groin tweak, and that this was on Daboll and Ronnie Barnes. And maybe on Gano also, if he downplayed the injury. Regardless, I think we need to move past Gano
never been around a leader in my life in any profession who would not understand what I posted Christian.
I'm gonna got out on a limb and guess most of the leaders you've been around would be a little confused by your bizarre misuse of the word "responsivity."
But based on your general reading comprehension exhibited on this site, maybe not?
See the post below my initial one. That poster easily understood it. Any credible leader would.
For about the 100th time, maybe best to engage elsewhere. I find you exceptionally weak and not all that bright. Yet you keep following me around which is telling.
To not dress 53 is negligent. For any little reason at all.... They let you dress 53. A tour golfer would not start a round with 13 clubs. A MLB team would bit roll with 24. Dressing one less is fucking stupid and negligent. Even if it's an emergency kicker who fills Gatorade from the bucket and does nothing else, it's a multi billion dollar league and you don't even wanna meet the minimum allowed? Why on God's green earth is this even a thing... Fire them all.
It is reasonable to assume that compensating for the groin injury caused a hamstring injury.
Giants needed to elevate a kicker from the practice squad for this game. Absolutely inexcusable.
They had 52 active players, how much would it have pained them to make a second kicker available?
They didn’t even have 53 guys on the active roster! That is malpractice. A groin can easily be re-aggravated. Gross mismanagement of the roster.

But is that Daboll’s call? I have no idea why, for the 2nd game in a row, they didn’t dress 53, but is that on Daboll, Schoen or both?

Imagine the retrospect on this hits an all-time high by tomorrow morning.
A new high in low for our beloved Giants.

No, but I do have common sense. That is all this situation called for. We didn’t get it.

Wait, hold on, they only had 52 active? Holy crap.

So many things wrong today that I just cannot see how this ends well for Daboll.
Which I doubt Scheon or Daboll are.

Gameday decisions are the HC's call.

I didn’t know they only had 52 today. WTF?. Why not elevate the PS guy just in case? Inexcusable!,
No back-up plan in either situation….
BRILLIANT!!!!

See Duggar’s post. Gano was wincing during pre-game warm-ups and cut his warm ups short. Gillan came out and started practicing field goals.
But yeah, Gano was probably completely fine and the hamstring pull completely unrelated to any existing injuries. That is completely logical.
Under their watch this team has become unwatchable.
Agreed. I said it in another thread that Daboll the head coach screwed Daboll the play caller today.
He gave his dad great advice draft day on Hard Knocks.

That nails it - well said.
Daboll seems to be one of those guys is cut out to be a coordinator, not a head coach.

Well, I suspect he'll be one again after this season. This is going to cost him his job. And I think he knows it.
Best to say I take full responsivity and/or no excuse. Veer much outside those two things it doesn't end well.

A good leader takes accountability. Especially when its 100% their fault
You have been through some very special leadership training I guess....glad I was not apart of that.
