I know there’s a lot to be negative about from this Sunday, but I don’t want to see Nabers’s day get completely glossed over. His stat line is pretty eye popping, and then when you remember it was his second NFL game…
Listen I know I’m not treading new ground here saying he’s supremely talented. And sure, that drop was rough, and between the way we lost and the drop itself, maybe it was easier to overlook how great he played. But then I watched this quick clip.
Sorry if this has been posted, but I this is the type of stuff that gets me hyped about a kids future. I know there were concerns, but this is the character I want to see. Taking ownership, no bullshit and when he said, “no matter how good a game you have, that last play came down to me and I’m just… I’m hurt that I let those [guys] down…” I believe him, he seems genuine. He doesn’t give a shit that he played lights out, he went on and said, “I never wanna let my team down, that’s my main motto, don’t ever let my team down, and I let my team down.” Just seems like the type of dude you want to go to war with. Or maybe I’m grasping at straws. But I think we got a good kid in the fold, who also looks to be playing on a different level than most.
Sorrry for the positivity.

Yet we had people on this site yesterday starting moronic threads that Nabers cost us the game.
This was the EXACT feeling I had.
