Had lousy field position once. The other times Singletary fumbled and Jones just missed the pas to Nabers (which I like him trying and hope he keeps throwing it)
is Jones. As Sy said, he's inconsistent. He's erratic. That doesn't mean he won't occasionally play well as he did in the first half, but he can't do so consistently, as we're seeing yet again this half. So you get a Jekyll and Hyde player, and with him it's more bad than good.
they had a set up play with theo johnson on drag wheel. i think it would have been a big play if he didnt get hit. theo already had big separation before he turned upfield.
They are not gunshy...
They went right back to him and handed him the ball inside of our 10 yard line. Just did it again

Jones and the offense have done nothing this half but that’s ok imo, just play it safe and let the defense finish this off.

yeah.. I am worried about what has happened to our species after reading this thread.
1st- you had Hyatt on tbe field. You only bring him out to send him deep, thus the likelihood that this is a pass play is pretty much guaranteed.
2nd- You gave yourself no real chance to execute this play and deep in our own end makes the pass rush that much more deadly..
You gave up clock usage, solid second down opportunities to get cute..
It was nice to have an actual NFL QB for one half, anyway.
