happy to play with a bottom of the barrell QB. When you watch Jones miss him over and over and over again are you surprised? He could have an all time great rookie season with a QB that's not a complete POS.

FWIW, Nabers has dropped a few too. A couple of Jones throws were long, yes. But better than an INT. I think Jones will get his timing with Nabers shortly.
Not sure what you were watching. An amazing receiver making acrobatic catches on routine throws, and a below QB overthrowing wide open receivers and TEs. THAT is what I SAW. The bar is SO LOW on this board it is truly tragic.
Agreed! It makes it all the more impressive what he’s doing as the only real option on the offense, and DJ being “below average” (and that’s being generous).
Just wanna give the kid his dues. Fun player, and seems to be a good dude.
It's awesome that he is already top tier from the get go
This is the correct way to observe this stat, haha. It’s, by and large, meaningless, given that 3 of em haven’t played a down yet, wasn’t meant as a commentary on them, Jones, Dabs, Schoen, John Mara, Wellington Mara, or Kate Mara. Just cool that we got a guy who’s producing.
I wanted Nabers or Maye....people that wanted to pass on him for a
similarly available prospect at QB the next year are nuts. DJ might not be your cup of tea, but you build rosters first...people act like DJ is a backup clearly don't watch much NFL or think scrubs playing our historical D is the norm.
You don't skip all pro players...we know have 3 all pros arguably at the 3 of the most 4 important positions in the game between WR, LT, and interior stud..edge is important but they tend to grow on trees unlike guys like Dex
Would've been furious if they passed on Nabers for McCarthy
Pass in stride over the middle and turn it into a 40-yard TD. Maybe Nabers would be able to do that if Eli was the QB. Have to hope Jones can start to make those throws instead of back-shoulder throws on crossing patterns.
RE: I’m still waiting for more Beckham magic where he would take a short

Those plays happen when a QB throws with anticipation. Jones is a reaction QB. He has to see it before throwing it, and by that point the defense has already reacted too.
I like our guy a lot but going to be fun to watch all 3 and the rest of the WRs from this class over the next few years.
