The cowboys will be without 2 of their top three corners.
Watching the Giants against Dak is like watching the Mets against Atlanta. You don't believe they can win until they do. cowboys secondary - ( New Window )
Their best corner is Diggs. Bland got his pick 6s last year but he got roasted a ton too.
If your point is that Bland gets overrated because of his gaudy INT stats, the same can perhaps be said of Diggs - maybe more so.
Anyway, both teams are hurting at CB. Caelen Carson hasbeen a typical Day 3 rookie, and the situation behind him is dire: next man up is Andrew Booth, a teammate of Duke Shelley in that awful 2022 Viking secondary. (Booth was one of the backup CBs whose injuries forced Minnesota to play Shelley.) After Booth, they would be down to vet special teamer C.J. Goodwin and the practice squad journeymen Kemon Hall and Amani Oruwariye, who couldn't make a corner-starved Giant team last year.
But how is the weather supposed to be? Pouring in NY right now and sky looks awful, not sure if it supposed to let up or how the weather looks over there
The Dallas roster is not good. They have some star power (Dak, Parsons, Lamb, Diggs, Martin, Lawrence) but they were able to overwhelm the Giants with depth in years past.
They’ve lost Pollard, Gallup (he always made big catches vs the Giants), Tyron Smith, Biadasz, Fowler, Armstrong, Vander Esch, Bland, Kearse, Barr, and Sam Williams.
Their rookie LT has struggled. Their RT has been bad. Their DE depth has been depleted. They have the worst IDL in the league. They have no threats at RB. Their secondary is bad. And their LB’s are often out of place.
Their original 2nd corner is on ir, arguably their best corner

And one backup safety. Not as bad as the Giants' situation.

As a glutton for punishment I just bought tix and parking pass. Hopefully tonight is the night.
