On a somewhat related note, I think that selling sports tickets has become a very lucrative side gig for many people. AT&T stadium was filled with Saints and Ravens fans who got very loud when the Cowboys went down. I wonder if home field advantage will disappear at some point.
as long and consistently as the Giants have been, this will happen to any team. It is a reflection of the product they put on the field.
But I would not be surprised if Dallas fans take over the stadium tonight, John Mara is not up in his box thinking "This would never have happened if Saquon was here. He was a fan favorite and our identify. I should fire Joe for letting him leave. I should always trust my instincts."

Lucrative side gig? how about just recouping some of the ridiculous cost of tix, PSLs, parking, forced purchase of preseason "games"?
It is what it is. They've had sustained success, the Giants have had sustained suckitude. If the Giants ever manage to have a 15-year run of always making the playoffs, and win some rings along the way, the next generation will be Giants fans. But the Dallas fans in the area are mostly fans for life now.

it happened while Barkley was here too. be going on for years. Shit remember the Moose Johnson calls? That was 30 years ago.
It's not just Ticket Master and their ilk, bastards though they may be
If you're a Giants fan with tickets and don't want to go to the game, you are fairly likely to give them to a Cowboys fan rather than to another Giants fan who, like you, is also sick of seeing them lose.

I know it has. The point was Mara will look to find a scapegoat. Fire Schoen and the problem of losing our best player will have been addressed. His usual narrow scope, short-term thinking.

Dallas fans took over this stadium several times with Saquon on the field, and lest we forget, Saquon was 0-11 against Dallas.
The Giants' one win in the last few yers was in the 2020 season after Saquon's ACL injury.
A lot of fans pissed about the state of the team. I think that's enough to dissuade a good chunk of fans from sitting through a potentially devastating loss.

Hey, no argument here man!
So many tickets hit secondary market after that Commander loss it's
Surprisingly, not a high demand game - Thursday night, UN General Assembly in town, Netanyahu on the agenda, traffic nightmare. And the Giants long term stinking trend is certainly part of it as well.
been the case for decades. No matter if one of the teams is better than the other. Tri-state area Cowboy's fans annoy the shit out of me but it's not a new thing.
I got tickets as a gift (no way I would buy those myself) for the 2017 home game where Eli started again. Yuck, what a disaster that was.
I stayed until the end for whatever reason and there were Cowboy fans all over the place. It seemed as if they took up the entire lower bowl by the end of the game. Lol. What a joke.

This is true. I noticed this that Dallas fans always do make a good showing, no matter the record.
Eagle fans? You can never find any of them at a Giants/Eagles game if the Eagles aren't good.

And Thursday night. This is nothing new.

until this team can compete with their rivals.

Or 61-39 like the OP noted.

Dallas fans will overpay for a one time 90 percent win.
As others mentioned until we become a real challenge.
Giants gave out replica rings after they raised parking fees.
Hard to find a positive
But winning tonight, somehow someway would be sweet
