We knew but confirmed
Jones without Nabers is a scary thought

Like maybe we don’t break 10 points scary…
Overused him and threw spit balls at him

I knew this was coming. The guy was gassed in Q3. Comebackers, widow makers the works. Of course he is hurt. Thats the Giants Way
10 days to heal
uconngiant : 9/27/2024 12:20 am : link
I don't want him to come back unless he is 100$

Agree. He is the future of this team. Don’t hurry him back for another lost season where we are just playing out the string of games from October on.

Jones with nabers is scary and not in the good way. This team is going to waste his prime just like they did obj

We've had that for 5 years. It's no more scary than what we've seen. I thought Jones WITH Nabers was supposed to be a scary thought for defenses. Instead, we are 1-3 and looking not much different other than Nabers is fucking amazing.
Totally overused him.

This immediately reminds me of how they overused Beckham and pretty much derailed his career.
All the guys hovering over him as he laid

on the sideline, illustrated his significance to the franchise.
A pro-bowl level wide receiver

And we're going to destroy him with overuse and shitty QB play.

Not necessarily overuse. I like him having 10+ catches. It's that most put him in position to get smacked. The same is true of Robinson. He got lit up on at least 3 or 4 catches. People are looking only at the completions in terms of % and ignoring that a lot are still badly behind the receiver. There's a big difference between hitting a guy in stride when he is in front of a defender and can immediately turn up field or continue moving away from said defender at the least and instead throwing it where your receiver has to slow, stop, and/or reach back to catch the ball and then often have to spin back toward the defender after the catch. The results aren't just in yards, but in how the WR is getting hit.
Injury to insult

.
overuse?
KDavies : 9/27/2024 9:56 am : link
are we serious with this? If WRs don't get the ball enough, they throw a fit and become divas. If they get the ball alot, it's overuse.
I know they have a long break now
Matt M. : 9/27/2024 9:57 am : link
so a better chance of his recovery. But, I am worried about his future. 4 games into what is shaping up to be a VERY promising career and he is concussed. The next couple of weeks are now very important to his long term success.

Yup. Like a kid playing Madden. Run him right into the ground.

yup, you could feel the sense of "oh no, anybody but Nabers"
The much scarier injury was dodged, IMO
UConn4523 : 9/27/2024 10:03 am : link
I think it was the same drive or maybe the one prior but Jones scrambled right and threw to Nabers around the LOS and he got rocked around the knees/thigh right when he touched the ball. Thought for sure he sustained a big lower leg injury there.
nothing he could do
bigbluehoya : 9/27/2024 10:05 am : link
on that play he got injured on, but I did notice on a number of occasions that he was turning inward toward the middle of the field to try and squeak out the extra yard or two when he could have achieved a similar result toward the sideline, with fewer oncoming tacklers.

those plays are terrifying, when they get him the ball behind or near the line if scrimmage, and he's looking toward the backfield with zero time to get his head around to see what defenders are there.
The garbage QB and gutless HC

are going to end his career before it even gets started.
