At any point in the game

did you feel the Giants would win? Me neither.

Dallas is a shell of its former self. The Giants have 2 division losses in very winnable games. If only they had an average QB and coach. I get it that Daboll is handcuffed with Jones but the play calling is an absolute joke. How about throwing the ball past the sticks on 3rd down. How about a pass or 2 into the end zone from red zone? Continually running up the middle on first down with no success. Burning timeouts in the 3rd quarter.

Without Nabers this team is an absolute zero on offense. Might as well not have any TE’s on the roster.

3 years into the Schoen and Daboll era and what’s to show for it? With all the high draft picks, this roster might even be worse than it was 3 years ago. DJ Davidson and Eric Gray getting playing time, come on.
No because

We don't have an NFL caliber QB

The Giants are a poorly run operation with no real plan.
It you showed everyone the first 4 games

Of this season when Schoen and Daboll were hired, and asked “Do you want to bring in these guys?” The answer would of course be no. There are about 5 posters on this site who would say yes because “2022!!!’ But most fans would be seriously disappointed from what they expected.

The question is, why does anyone still believe these were good hires?

The only argument for bringing them back is, do you really want John Mara hiring more people? To quote Eric from BBI, “It can always get worse.”
Anytime you watch the Chiefs in a close game

You just feel like they will find a way to win. With the Giants, you know they will find a way to lose.
Only because 2022 happened

Watching the game itself, no. But I felt that way most of the time in 2022 and we won a lot of those games. In 2022, Dallas would've fumbled a snap or missed a meaningful FG or had a CB fall down. We lived on a weak schedule and a million breaks that year - ownership and the FO somehow thought it was sustainable

They still do. Just like posters on this site feel like 2022 was the real team, and every other year was some fluke or mirage, ownership thinks that also. John Mara still thinks we are back. The losses piling up since the mid point of the 2022 season will not persuade him that this is not a really good team with a really good QB that just loses 75% of their games because of bad breaks.

There was probably a point in the 3rd quarter

when I thought we'd have a chance to steal it. But I kinda assumed that with Audrey kicking for them, he'd hit some ludicrous FG at the gun and we'd lose.
