The Giants only win came because the opponent's offensive line fell apart injured mid-game.

This is stage 2 of being a Giants fan: rationalization. By next Saturday we'll be hearing about how the Giants should win in Seattle.

My take is we have enough talent offensively EXCEPT the QB to compete. My problem is I also thought we had enough talent on D. I was expecting a 3 headed monster with Dex, KT, and Burns that teams just wouldn't be able to handle. Instead, it's still just Dex and a very rare flash from the other 2. Between Burns and KT, they have literally a handful or less impactful plays combined through 4 games. That is pathetic. I am convinced if they did their jobs, the secondary would look decent. Not great, but decent.

What I don't get is last week we blitzed and got a ton of pressure, which played a big part in the win. This week we barely blitzed, even though we got almost no pressure. If what you are doing isn't working, change it up.

The optimist in me is rooting for that win. The realist knows we have little shot. Unfortunately, the former will win out to start the game, hoping against hope that Seattle implodes or some other miracle. I can guarantee this...even though I don't think we will win against a Seattle team playing well, I will take no solace if we play them close and lose. I am tired of all these moral victories. A loss is a loss is a loss. Period.

Eric. My take is we are getting there. We need a new QB however I’m too old to wait for a blowup of team. Draft Ward and keep moving forward

You are what your record says you are. They’ve been terrible going on 12 years but we’ll rationalize that they are good. If we want to play what ifs with this season what if the Cleveland defender doesn’t hit Jones on the head and the interception he threw stood? Very possible in that scenario the team is 0-4.

That some "prominent" people around here are willing to place most of the blame on one player, and defend flat-out insane coaching decisions.

These 52 or 53 players are the best we've had in years. Mismanagement since the season started is why we're 1-3.

Daboll is not a head coach. That's all there is to it. The TE position stands out more than any other, Theo is not ready yet, Bellinger pissed off Daboll at some point (i can only assume), so for 29 snaps a game Daboll is deciding to play 10 vs 11 style football.

Don’t see how you could expect any different. The OL is a perfect example. It’s light years better than we’ve had so it looks great. But, we’re still at least a player away. Van Roten is a somewhat better version of Bredeson. We need our RG to be two levels better than that. Maybe Kubas or Neal will be that next year. But not this year.

Folks complaining about TE. We’ve got a rookie 4th round pick, a 5th round pick and a vet min FA. You want that to be better tell us what day 1/2 draft pick or serious FA you’d give up to have that.

If Jones cannot throw the deep ball then bench him. Cannot win with a qb the defense only has to stop the run and defend against the short pass. We have three receivers who can stretch the field but are wasted because jones cant throw deep.

Can't afford the injury payment if the team is going no where. Mara will have to make that call because Davoll and Schoen need to win now to keep their jobs.

If the Giants had an actual kicker it would have changed the game, but no way to tell what would have happened. We may still have lost.

So the solution is to blow it up. Start over and build a new team with a new staff and hope it all works out

Isn't crazy to suggest the Giants can hang in with majority of these teams.

They're not a contender but the truth is, the league is full of parity and lacks elite QB's and teams. Tom Brady wasn't lying when he said there's bad QB play across the league.
