on their respective Big Boards.
A few observations:
(1) Cam Ward will eventually rise on both Big Boards. How high is anyone's guess but I think several NFL teams will fall in love with his Aaron Rodgers-esque three-quarters gun-slinger flick delivery. How much in love? He's a Top 5 pick IMO.
(2) While it would just be terrible to watch, there is a distinct possibility that the Giants morph into a demoralized squad that plays well below its talent level. The upside to that is being well positioned to secure the QB they most covet.
(3) The opposite of course is they manage to secure 5 or 6 wins which may well cost them significant draft capital for Daniel Jones' replacement.
(4) If by some odd chance the Giants do not select a QB next April in a QB-rich Draft, then I can think of only two reasons why: (a) Daniel Jones drank a miracle potion and morphed into the second coming of Y.A. Tittle or (b) the Giants organization wants to torture their fan base for at least one more generation. My money would be riding on (b).

I said nothing of the sort. I was laying out consequences from different scenarios,
Good thing the team doesn’t have to “tank” per say, they actually suck
lolololol.
This may shock some, but this team might just lose without tanking and against a fans wishes!
Tankathon updated 3 days ago. I’m too lazy to look up GBN but “I seem to recall” a Sept 23rd update or something like that.
He's been dealing with an injury.
Milroe is a guy who really intrigues me. Year under Saban staff, then with Deboers offense. Good physical build and talent profile even if QB translation into pro style is a bit raw.
Still unsure about how Ewers year plays out. He’s another intrigue guy.
This is going to be a real unique class into the pre draft process and draft to follow. Lot of QBs.
The name I don't see getting enough love is Jalen Milroe
Its early but I agree
The name I don't see getting enough love is Jalen Milroe
Beating UGA/Beck could sure change that.
Moss and Ewers don't quite have the right look but might be close enough. I don't think any of the others are what we're looking for
The announcers were waxing poetic about his creativity and overall play.
Ward did show his dual-threat ability. He appears to be better at running than throwing the ball.
He was reasonably accurate. His arm strength is suspect.
He did not feel pressure and his footwork needs work.
He does have a quick release.
Ward had some cringe-worthy plays. He had two awful interceptions and three other passes that should have been intercepted.
One play he threw a lame duck up the middle of the field and his receiver made a saving catch.
If you look at his stats and the Miami win you could come away thinking that Ward played well.
Much of Ward's stats were empty and came against a porous VT defense. I was not impressed. I wanted to see more.
I want to see how Ward plays against a top defense. Louisville will be their toughest opponent and they are not very good. Miami's schedule is easy and they will not see a top-ten opponent until the playoffs.
Ward may have crazy stats and win the Heisman, but
