When the biggest moment comes up, he usually doesn't pull through. Yes there were times his receiver drop the ball, but there are also times where he under-throw/overthrow. His career has been very inconsistent; he has done better not turning the football over in years (including fumbling). Beside 2022, he hasn't won in the spotlight. Not having a offensive line in the past & no receivers doesn't help either, but he was never elite. He is a game manager where he is good only if everything is perfect. Giants lost a winnable game yesterday due to multiple reason, but Jones not elevating is one of them. I hope I am wrong and Jones improve, only time will tell.
Eli Manning may have been inconsistent, but when he had to win the game when needed, he always has pulled through. He becomes a better player in the playoffs and beat Tom Brady twice.
Not sure if the injury is affecting his deep throw. There is still alot of football left & anything can happen. We can only hope for the best & go from there. If we don't win alot of game, at least we will get a new quarterback in the draft; the new quarterback will join a better team compared to when Jones started.

I agree, Daniel Jones is an average quarterback & if we keep losing games, I guarantee you, we getting a new quarterback under center for the 2025 season.
Daboll is coaching for his job now, so the likelihood of Jones being benched to prevent the injury clause kicking in is out the window now. I think there is zero chance a healthy Jones is on the bench for the Giants this year unless it is week 16 or 17.
