Author notes that right guard has not been a strength for the team. Giants have 10 days off. This would be a good time to try to get Neal ready for a few snaps at right guard. A major weakness of the JS tenure has been evaluating the talent on the roster. He went into 2023 thinking he could get by playing Ezeudu and Mckethan. This year he seems to have over- rated the support that Davidson, Nachos and Riley could give to Dex. He needs to see if Neal can help the run game as a guard.

While the long passes that Nabers didn't receive from Jones misses he gets no credit for?
Clearly the process is subpar and can and should be improved.
Neal has NEVER taken one snap at guard at the pro level, even in practice. That kind of change shouldn't be done during a season. Besides, Schoen has said "he's a tackle". They will live or die with that assessment.

Who is suggesting that, Dave? Hilary was the thread starter. I agree that the only way Neal should play at RG is if there are a couple of in-game injuries. He needs a training camp to make a permanent switch.
