Some good games this last September Saturday:
OK State @ KSU.
Wiscy @ USC.
Louisville @ ND.
Arkansas @ A&M.
Illni @ PSU.
'Zona @ Utah...I could see the Wildcat upsetting the Utes.
& the big one...Georgia @ 'Bama. Obviously a huge game regardless, but looking forward to see Beck & Milroe, two dudes who might be on the Giants radar next spring.
Per ESPN, it doesn't look like Ewers is going to suit up vs. the Bulldogs so it'll be Arch time!
Have a great Saturday y'all! GO IRISH!

Milroe
Ward
Nuss
Ewers(his injury history probably takes him off the list)
What is Ewers injury history? His strained oblique muscle? He could have played today but they held him out since it was only Miss St.
Sy said it on a YouTube video. Something like he's missed games every year due to injuries including senior year of high school
2 years ago he got smashed by Bama and broke his collarbone, but came back the second half of the season. Last season he was healthy. This season he missed the last two games because he strained an oblique muscle, nothing major. He could have played this week but since Sark knew they would win, he sat Ewers to make sure he's healthy for OK and Georgia. I also say him at Carrol HS in High school, the guys is not injury prone.
Missed 6 games as a senior in high school.
Missed 3 games one season
Next season he missed 2 games
This season he's missing games
Sy explains it - ( New Window )
This is wild!
It was a good throw because it was to the outside of the defender. But Williams made the play...

Haters?
Yeah it was probably pretty unfair to refer to him as Jones Jr -- those two throws alone render that title unfitting.
Up to the fumble he was very Jonsian. Since then he has been a different QB
Modern NFL is similar though and has all around bad QB play.
He has certainly made my earlier comments look foolish.

Yeah - pro ready indeed...
Milroe's last throw was shit too. AL WR made a great adjustment to corral a poor throw, GA WR didnt.
Ballgame.
Mr. Milroe allow me to introduce you to Mr. Heisman... and hopefully, Mr. Nabers next April!

Milroe at least threw the ball to the outside where the corner couldn't get to it...

If the game ended at halftime, I'd absolutely agree.

Seemed more coincidental than intentional to me.
In any event, if Jones had thrown that exact same pass and Nabers had caught it, no one here would be arguing that was a good throw.
Love him.
Jury is still out if he is the guy to sell the farm for.
Long season to go.
I don’t particularly like him.
I thought the same thing
Great play by the CB but that WR can’t allow that to happen
Fun game tho

I'm not saying it was a great throw, btw. But Milroe got the ball into a good spot for Williams to do his thing.
It was a better toss than Beck's last...
Easy, he can beat your alma matter.
But hey I thought Josh Rosen was going to be good
Milroe certainly has developed into a terrific QB
You have to give Beck credit for a heck of a comeback
I like his character under duress
It's early. The SEC is tough this year. Bama will have one loss before the season ends...
He's a good player, but I'm not investing a lottery pick in him.
I've never thought highly of him either.
You can see how much NIL/portal movement has drained both these teams on the defensive lines. They used to rotate in beasts, now barely any pressure all day.
Arizona uses him just like the Giants use Jalin. Give him 5 snaps a game and throw him one long seam route.
Good call by SF on Arizona pulling the upset. Isaac Wilson looks like a carbon copy of Zach. Really good physical skills, but all over the place making decisions (although he is a true freshman so huge asterisk there).
The SEC is so tough this season. There are a lot of big games left, so Georgia is no where near out of it. I doubt any team gets through the conference undefeated.

I'd be surprised, too.
Two weeks ago, Kentucky had Georgia on the ropes. And yesterday they march into Ole Miss and knock them off.
I know you're a Texas fan, but Georgia is going to take them down Oct 19th. Georgia showed me a lot last night.

They very well might, that will be Georgia's game of the season because they can't afford another loss. Thats down the road though, Texas needs to get past Oklahoma first. This is a big rivalry and always a tough game.
I think they got that right.
That works. It won’t look like that order in another month though.
