More than likely the Giants will select a quarterback and we will be picking high again. At least Schoen/Daboll will have the opportunity to get their guy in the draft. The new quarterback will come into a situation where the offensive line is playing well with receivers in Naber, Robinson, Slayton, & Hyatt (not sure if Slayton will be back); hopefully at the end of the year Johnson develops into a good tight end with Tracy/Singletary as the running backs. I am not sure what happen with Bellinger (hasn't been same player since his eye injury), but if he doesn't get used more and progress, we should get another tight end. I also don't think it hurts to get another receiver as well, especially if slayton doesn't come back. On Defense, adding a corner & anther defensive tackle will definitely be a priority heading into the offseason. I think heading into 2025 season, us fans will have something to look forward to. I do think Daboll/Schoen will come back next season & if they draft a quarterback, you gotta give them till 2026. You have to have some continuity & can't keep getting rid of guys every 2-3 year prior to this current staff.
As for the current season, still alot of football left & anything can happen, just have to hope for the best.
So teh 3 most important spots are QB and the trenches OL and DL.
The hell with the TEe until later rounds. Same with RB.

Run blocking needs to get better, but pass protection has been solid. And nothing wrong with adding more offensive line with this group we have.
If Burns can be more consistent and has a great year, then I think we should get another defensive tackle to help Dexter Lawrence.
I'm not sure I trust him in making the selection of the next QB.

I agree Schoen had made mistakes, but if you going to give Dave Gettleman 4 years, you gotta give him 4 years as well (maybe 5 if they get their quarterback in the draft). And like I mention, there has to be some continuity & can't fire people left and right.

The QB you get you have to get him th utmost protection., And this OL has not been good running teh ball thus they will blitz heavy with our new QB next year. And we don't have a lot of depth either.

+1.
Yes. Thats all I'm saying.
I know I'm gonna get shouted down for this post, but I'd prefer having Young as the next QB rather than those who'll be available in the next draft.

You must not watch college football. Ward and Milroe and light years better than Bryce Young.

Oh please... we don't need a short, damaged QB with small hands....
I base the opening on my belief that we could just as well have opened 3-1 as 1-3.
Not claiming this is where I want to be, but rather where I think we actually are.

If Gettleman had hit on the QB, he might still be the GM.

We are actually 1-3. And there is a good chance Jones wont be the QB at the end 3/4 games. They aren't 3-1. They are 1-3.
