I am sure Sy will update his opinion on the best QB for the 2025 draft, but as of this link he had Jalen Milroe (alabama) as the best of the top 5 he reviewed. will look forward to see where he rates Milroe by end of season
Sy's early overview on best qb in 2025 draft - (
New Window )
I’d rank them
1. Milroe
2. Ward
3. Ewers
4. Sanders (undraftable personality)
5. Allar
6. Miller Moss
7. Beck
8. Dart
Milroe is currently murdering Georgia while Beck looks like Daniel Jones 2.0.
I’d rank them
1. Milroe
2. Ward
3. Ewers
4. Sanders (undraftable personality)
5. Allar
6. Miller Moss
7. Beck
8. Dart
I'd be shocked if Sanders is on the Giants board.

Not sure he does anything well.

Sanders would be eaten alive in NY. I don’t think he has “it”.
You are nuts. Milroe and ward are STUDS.

Unfortunately the Giants continue to suck at the wrong time, or make the wrong draft choices…Hope I’m wrong, but this smells like the 2013 draft class.

Face palm to the head….uhhhh
I must say, I’m a bit disappointed. After huddlin up at the clubhouse, the best the DJFC came out of the meetings with are the predictable “everyone sucks in this draft” talking point? Boooo. Was hoping for something a little more creative but it’s certainly not surprising. When’s the next meeting? I look forward to the riveting discussions on why the Giants should just move forward with Jones for another year

I may be wrong but I don't think Lax is known as a Jones defender.
Overall though I think he has a ton of tools and Daboll would love a qb like him
Best arm and tight spiral I've seen this year is Johnson from Kansas State. Unfortunately he's just a sophomore. More bad timing for Giants.
2025 should be a much more interesting quarterback class than I had previously thought. Maybe there is reason to hope again in East Rutherford...
"One thing that I am concerned by is the fact that his dad has been his coach or OC since high school. Do we even know if this kid can manage on his own?"
I know that everyone wants to factor Deion into a Shedeur evaluation. But don't all QBs at every level have coaches that coach them up to help them get better? And once they're on the field, don't all QBs have to manage on their own?
Not to mention the fact that in all other cases I can remember, when an NFL player grew up as a football coach's son, it's almost always presented as a positive thing and an advantage for the player.
So why would being a coach's son now somehow be a disadvantage for Shedeur? And why would he have trouble managing on his own, just because his father has been his coach?
like rapid dogs going after a bone, I think this website will take you up on your offer
He is a strong kid with a strong arm and can run enough to cause defenses fits.
