Top WR's being All Pro or at the very least Pro Bowlers. The starting RT is also an annual All Pro guy.

He is not bad, just vastly overrated because of where he was.

Did he? Good. I was in the car for part of it. Merrill and Mike are a good listen when the Eagles are getting killed.

The seat is certainly red hot, and Howie continues to be Teflon for whatever reason. I can’t see a mid-season dismissal though as it would be admitting they should have fired him after last season. Which they should have.

Hurts is now 12-21 in his career, with about 150 passing YPG. He also has 28 turnovers in his last 22 games.

He is not very good, and now is being exposed without weapons and the OL not playing as well. He doesn’t look much better than Jones now that he is in a similar situation as Jones was (but a better OL). He’s even handing it off to Barkley and throwing to Paris Campbell and John Ross.

And done well, but he's not putting a team on his back ala Mahomes/Allen.

I was going to start a thread about this. They do look just like the Giants with Saquon—who I was a big fan of. He is great and helps with some wins and has some exciting plays that make you think he is elevating the team but something is just off.

2022 season. He was excellent, don’t get me wrong, but the key to being a top 20 QB is to repeat it year after year. He’s a big strong guy, runs well, but has always struggled with accuracy in mid-range passing. He no longer has the best OL in the league and it shows.

Sirianni is definitely on the hot seat. I just wonder how long before Philly makes a switch. There is clearly something wrong in that locker room, they are too talented to be struggling this much.

because they played in primetime twice and we were off yesterday. Hurts was not good yesterday, but he has been playing without AJ Brown for 3 of the 4 games and Smith yesterday. The bottom line is that when he has those two guys or even one of them he performs at a level we that makes them competitive virtually every game and I don't think that has changed. The question after 2022 was he one of the best QBs i n the league and I don't think he is (although I was scared he was after 2022), but he isn't on the Jones level by any stretch.

And Roseman is now just as guilty as Giants management of falling too much in love with his QBs too early. Bad contract to Wentz, and he literally went on record saying Hurts "has nothing left to prove" a week before the Superbowl!

If he's not careful the Eagles will be lapped will be lapped by the Commanders (unfortunately not by the Giants at this rate).

He was a good running QB that has a great supporting cast. Take away his top receivers and he struggles. He is not a QB that can throw into tight windows. But many in 2022 were rating him elite. Other than Mahomes there are a few flashes.
