despite losing the season series to them during the regular season. The Phillies, like the Brewers, won the regular season series against the Mets
7 games to 6. The Mets will be looking for some payback against the Phillies the same way they did against the Brewers. Click

I figure they're gonna save Peterson, Stanek, and Maton for Game 5---ESPECIALLY Peterson. Senga won't go mor than 3 or 4 innings (roughly 50 pitches) for Game 5 if they get to that point. After that it would be Peterson.
Game 4's bullpen will feature Buttó, Garrett, Díaz, Ottavino, D. Young, and Megill. I don't think they'll throw Diaz more than inning tomorrow and that they'd like to preserve Megill too as long as possible and would pitch him only if the game hits extra innings.

I could see Peterson being available if they needed a lefty who was not a time bomb against right handed batters in a key spot.

Freeman on a bad ankle, LAD’s rotation nothing special. LAD couldn’t be any more top heavy (granted their stars include 3 future HOFers)
I thought for sure he'd be in the AFL. So without pitching in a real game in this decade, they won't likely add him to the 40-man right? Do you think someone claims him?
Not something I'm terribly worried about right now, but also would hate to lose him for nothing after all this time.
