the Jones Praetorian Guard are quickly ready to forgive his crappy career and ready to sign him to another 4 year extension. Lets see if he can play this well or better in 3 of the next 4 games for consistency.
Shut up! Enjoy the win and learn to not be a dick
sorry, i dont want to enjoy a win. i want to win a superbowl, and it ain't going to happen with jones.
Jones could win the SB and you would still bitch… I hate fans like you
He is still not the long-term answer at QB. He has elevated his game to almost the Sam Darnold level. He is going to get himself hurt too. It has been 6+ years without learning how to slide or protect himself from big hits.
but not getting too high over this. If they want to win me over, do it again the next week and the week after. Then make the playoffs. Anything less they can all go.
To win and I want Jones to play as well as he can. It changes nothing about me wanting a new QB next year. The Giants should have beaten Washington and probably Dallas Too.
This team can hopefully reverse 2022 and peak in the second half of the year.

..especially with the pressure drifting to Steve Sax/Chuck Knoblauch territory. Those were so huge and perfectly done, and that says a lot about him IMO. How many under that spotlight just melt? Plenty.
Not that they mean a whole hell of a lot but they earned and deserved the win today. If we’re being honest it shouldn’t have even been as close as the final score.
Tip of the cap to the players and coaches for the win today.

Brian Daboll said special teams coordinator Michael Ghobrial brought the play up early in the week and they were looking for candidates. Isaiah Simmons was the obvious choice. "He called it at the perfect time. ... It was a well-executed play."

The defense deserves a hell of a lot of credit. They shut down one of the more explosive offenses in the league. Hopefully this is the break out for Burns/Thibs who both had really good games

I wish we could get an in depth explainer of the call and why they called it. You have to be expecting a cut block for it to work
One in which the Giants were basically in complete control from start to finish save for the fact that they are the Giants and have to have some ridiculous tragedy happen time and time again. I've been critical of him, but today he was spot on!

I still think he got a little too conservative in the fourth quarter. The offense has to put a game away
The looked better prepared to play on both sides. Perhaps the extra days off helped analyzing everything and breaking some tendencies. Got the TE involved and hope to see DJ under center more.

Stop trying to police game threads like your George Zimmerman. If Jones won the SB we would be ecstatic.

Agreed but looking back it was really alll three phases that won the game.
At points it was the O controlling the game and at others the D stepped up, and at the end fhe ST came through.
This is the type of game this team needs to win. Contributions from all three phases plus good. coaching.
I think with one more really good draft they could win on talent alone but right now they need everything to click as it did today. At least against good teams.
optimistic going into the game. Except for the 95 yard drive given up, the Giants were aggressive on defense. They came up big when they needed to. They didn't fold after the Gray fumble. They even hit a couple of long passes and had a RB gain 129 yards.
Last year all of the games except one at this stage of the season were over by halftime. So, maybe there is something to look forward to in the next couple of seasons.
The tough games are coming up. Fingers crossed.
Too bad some fans are so dug in with their opinions that they cannot
Post a positive comment about the team after a good road win but are ready to pounce on the usual victims after the team loses. The pitchforks will probably return tomorrow.

You suck.

Both are true, he called a great game, and also got a little conservative, tho its tough to tell if that's on him or Jones for not pushing the ball down the field when they are playing their safeties up.

Still stop being an ass. You can only win one game at a time
I get the years long frustration. What I don’t get it is fans with pent up angst who can’t find joy in a big, potentially season saving win. Like cigarettes, I often consider quitting BBI because it’s so negative. I’m kind of addicted to both, but giving serious consideration to eliminating things negative in my life.
Obviously, there are BBIers who are diehard Giants fans and some who are just miserable people. IDK. I miss when this was a place you could rely on to be a fun place to celebrate a Giants win.
Instead, it’s just a negative environment no matter what. A dark cloud. That sucks.
but the Giants not only out-played Seattle... they out-played them by quite a lot. In all phases of the game. And I am not only happy with the way the Giants ran the ball but also how the Giants stoned Seattle's run game, not to mention the beating they put on their QB.

The 14 point swing was the big difference. Then you've got a 36-13 final, which feels like how the game went.

Agree! It was a great game made closer by the refs. Too much over thinking. They played great. Enjoy it! This was a offense that put up ridiculous numbers last game.
Jones played well
Tracey was awesome to watch
Defense came up big
Helluva win
Banks held DK to 4 catches and 55 yards. Sky isn’t falling on him yet
Was always too early for the bust talk

But hey, keep saying they are a horrible team and the QB is horrendous.
Both those things are still true.

Giants dominated Seattle today.

Tracey should get a 50/50 touch split even when Singletary is back
How do you know I’m not? Who brought up Sam Danrold?
Trying to take a victory lap like this makes you right that Jones is good makes you look like the idiot you are.

But im prepared for the inevitable kick in the balls I’m used to just when I think we’re back
How long have you been a Giant's fan?
The inevitable kick in the balls has been there since the 70's.
You type like you're shocked?
I’m a 78 year old lifelong Giant fan. Nuff said

Lmao. That first sentence is the funniest thing you’ve ever posted on your site from a guy who has been dead wrong for 6 years.
Jones isn’t good and the Giants still need to move on. Dominating Seattle doesn’t change that.

It's pretty surprising considering Nabers wasn't playing and their RB was a rookie. But they played great, and the defense stepped up!

gunner take over all KR/PR.
he just doenst have a role.
too much fumbles for a guy who touched the ball like 5x a game.

Singletary is a good #2/3rd down RB if he can hold the ball.
Singletary is a good #2/3rd down RB if he can hold the ball.
That’s exactly it, Singletary makes me nervous because he’s too prone to getting the ball punched out of his arms
He hit two long balls today so shut up

Lawrence is a force. Banks played lights out. Kicking game was terrific.
Well coached game. Big, big time win. Finally, the fans get a good feeling from a game.
No doubt some of you will find fault but this has the makings of a very tough team to play.
without a false start?
Wow!!!
They played really well today!!!

I wondered that myself. Jones lost his woobie and had to look for other receivers

Again, Jones has been good this season and has been trending up ever since the week 1 debacle.
It’s ok to say it.
