winning the regular season series 4 games to 2. The Mets will be looking for some payback against the Dodgers the same way they did against the Brewers & Phillies, who they also lost their regular season series against. Click

Yes. Give Stanek the 6th. 4 outs form him overall. Then give Senga the 7th and however much of the 8th he can get through without walking the park before brining in Diaz. That's the formula.

Loved bringing him in against the Dodgers' big dogs. Pages couldn't handle the heat and neither could Ohtani. Betts can hot dog his b!t$h @$$ all the way back to the dugout after that weak @$$ groundout to 2B too.
Hopefully they get a couple of more runs here now and have someone besides Diaz pitch the 9th (Senga seems to delicate to be bothered).

Video of all 3 first pitches from Straw, Ventura, and Harvey all showed ONLY them making the throw and not Doc, Fonzie, and Cespedes catching the ball. Very frustrating.

I think Sunday is Manaea, Butto, Maton and Diaz and Senga if 10+ inning game.

I think the formula is Manaea for 5 to 7 innings and Senga for 2 to 3. Whatever's left over prolly goes to Maton or Megill. Hopefully the Mets blow them out again so they can save Maton for Game 7 along with Diaz and Stanek.

It's only 2 in a row in LA they have to win. They can do that and in fact already did win 2 in a row in LA this season.
If they force a game 7 the pressure mounts on the Dodgers immensely.

It'd be a rematch of Game 3: Severino vs. Buehler
It'd be Sevy for 5 or 6 then whoever after that. Hopefully Stanek and Diaz aren't used for Game 6 so we can have them going on all cylinders in Game 7. Prolly have to factor in one of Megill, Butto, or Senga in there somewhere too. It all depends on what happens pitching-wise in Game 6 of course. Hopefully Manaea can give us some length in addition to a W tomorrow night.

I agree that Severino would start a potential Game 7. I also think Peterson would be available for an inning, possibly two. The rest would depend on usage in a Game 7. I’d be surprised if we see Senga again this series.
Need Manaea to have a really good performance and for the bats to beat up on the Dodgers bullpen in Game 6. LGM!
I think the last guy they'd want to touch is their scheduled Game 1 starter that they've got in mind (prolly one of Quintana or Peterson).
