my kid has an xavier mckinney jersey and would like to change the name to tracy jr. anyone ever do this? if so where did you order the new name plate from? this is why i personally only want retired player jerseys. thanks for any input!
We ended up having to order a "custom" jersey at the MetLife flagship store for Dexter Lawrence. How do you not have that in stock? I understand not having every style. But, the custom jerseys are only the blue home jersey and he is their best player. How do you not have a single one ready to sell?
Even better, how do you have 2 (yes TWO) racks of Evan Neal jerseys?
The other oddity, all the computers to order a custom jersey were turned off. After speaking to a 3rd person in the store, I found out why and got to order one. She asked who I was ordering because they got too many orders for Nabers and were running out, so they turned the computers off. Huh? They are custom, like starting with a blank blue jersey. Unless you ran out of the #1 or his letters (I doubt either to be true), why would you stop taking orders?
my MIL gave me years ago for Christmas. I wasn't a fan of Shockey at the time (thought he was an A-hole who wasn't helping Eli be his best, which turned out to be true), but of course I couldn't say that. We don't even have a #80 on the team right now. Someday I might get a Cruz label for it, unless someone better comes along.

Nothing about this sounds surprising. Popular player = jersey sold out. Pariah benchwarmer = two racks of unsold jerseys.
Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk.

That, I get. But, why would there ever be a rack of Neal jerseys to begin with? What kind of demand would there ever have been for an OL? I can't imagine even Thomas would need 2 racks of jerseys on hand.
As for Lawrence, I get he's popular. They just don't seem to ever have those. Even online, they seemed like custom. It's not like they need to wait for a shipment. At the very least, they can produce their own stock of the blue home jerseys. Why do they not put ANY out in the store? For the other jersey types, I get being out of stock.
Look at my example of Nabers. They have plenty of Nabers out for sale, just not all sizes and jersey types. And he seemed to be the ost in demand jersey.
