The mistakes. Trevino gave away a run by leading off the bag when he can’t steal for shit. Continue to be terrible running the bases, Volpe almost another pick tonight. This shit catches up to you, you can leave runs on the bases. The two errors by Rizzo were bad, Weaver made some bad throws that cost him. I don’t ever want to see Holmes pitching with the game on the line ever again, you know he will shit the bed every time

I didn't like Boone using him at the end of G2. But he started overthrowing when he got to 2 outs and 2 strikes.

Mayza should have never been on this roster. Then you try another more than one inning save from Weaver even though Holmes had been pitching well in the seventh and eighth. In the ninth he gives up a scorcher to Ramirez and a bomb that barely stays in the park for a double. Then he grooves an 85 mph changeup to Noel. After the double the move should have been bring in the sinker ball pitcher to pitch to Noel.
Using Rizzo at first in the 9th when you need defense (Cabrera) is stupid at this point in his career. Berti should have been nowhere near first at all and now Hamilton is hurt because of that.

The good news is Hulu got fried with Judge up in the 10th so I didn't have to watch the inevitable.

But he’s making every game harder than it has to. None of his teams in his tenure have been strong fundamentally and that’s why the baserunning is so frustrating. Letting Berti bat for 7 innings ostensibly for defense only to bring Rizzo in in the 8th after any plus we could have had from his bat is mostly gone, keeping Trevino in the game after the leftie starter was out, etc just makes winning harder

Zero reason they should lose tomorrow. Tomorrow is a game with an opportunity to really destroy Cleveland's pitching depth by getting to Williams early. That helps with game 5 and/or 6 as well.
