I came here to ask about this...as a Nets fan, he was fine in Brooklyn his 1st year, great actually. In his 2nd year, whatever issues there were, it had nothing to do with his shot technique...no idea why they'd want to mess with it now. And obviously the Knicks coaches are the motivators or supporters of this, just seems like an odd time in his career to be messing with it

He said he has been altering his shot every year since he has gotten to the NBA, has nothing to do with the Knicks

and still has been a great shooter makes me less worried about his shot

Seems Knicks value Shamet enough to allow him to occupy the vet roster spot and rehab the shoulder:

Haven't seen update on Precious's apparent hamstring issue. Being down two members of second unit wouldn't be ideal.

Staying at 12 standard players and waiting for Shamet I'd say amounts to same thing.

Being down Mitch, Shamet and possibly Precious would be a drag on the second unit.

The New York Knicks have waived TJ Warren, Landry Shamet and Chuma Okeke, team says.

Shooting form in consecutive years for his career. Its not a new development, ive got zero concerns. Never been an issue for him in real games.

Celtics waived Lonnie Walker, wonder if the Knicks have any interest? Seems like a like for like replacement for Shamet.

With Landry Shamet situation up in air, NYK didn’t have cap space under 2nd apron for T.J. Warren. Warren had support among some NYK coaches & front office to make roster. He is going to join Westchester, SNY has learned, as he’ll likely be in mix to rejoin NYK during season.

I was thinking it might be Dadiet as well. Or else Hukporti or Sims get some minutes at the 5 and KAT some minutes at the 4. But Dadiet in place of Precious may be less of a disruption to the rotation overall.

i think even if he goes 9 i think he is going to have 2 starters with the bench unit..

Something like this sub pattern:

Deuce for Bridges 5 or 6 minute mark.
Sims for KAT a couple minutes later
Dadiet for Hart with a couple of minutes left..
Brunson and OG finish the quarter

Start 2nd with Payne, Deuce, Brisges, KAT and Dadiet or Sims..

Bridges and KAT play entire 2nd..Hart comes in around 8 minute mark for Dadiet or Sims...

Brunson and OG return with 5 or 6 minutes left in the 2nd

I have season tickets and right now I have the Christmas Day game against the Spurs for sale...1,200 each. Some have sold around my section for even more already.

Pacome Dadiet is about to get big bench minute his rookie year, but sure enough he's no worse than the 9th man right now, maybe 8th.

I think he's pretty concretely shaken off the narrative that he's too raw to play though. He was absolutely cooking in the preseason. I'm excited to see what he can do.

It's going to take very little for me to start calling for Big Huk over Sims too.

Two rotation guys injured in preseason games and who knows when Mitch returns. We’ll get through it though.

Dadiet looks very comfortable and competent. Somewhat like Kolek.

Im with you on Hukporti, but Sims isnt really putting up a fight for his job.

and allow players to be physical with him, he is going to struggle, he looks like he cant do anything with the guys oushing him around
