You very well know that the decision is not purely "who is better right now." And although DeVito outplayed Jones last year, I'm not even sure he's better, tbh. But at some point I think they need to try something different.
They won't bench Jones even though he hasn't thrown a TD at home since 2022, and the Giants will be 1-10 against Dallas and Philadelphia under Schoen and Daboll.
Daboll is losing the locker room by not benching Jones, especially the defensive players. He's as bad as Judge right now.
The problem is his limitation intellectually. Any coach who has "to learn" to have a backup K or P when the starter is hurting does not have a great deal of candlepower to begin with. Yelling at the QB you choose to play is not good coaching.
They won't bench Jones even though he hasn't thrown a TD at home since 2022, and the Giants will be 1-10 against Dallas and Philadelphia under Schoen and Daboll.
Daboll is losing the locker room by not benching Jones, especially the defensive players. He's as bad as Judge right now.
