Why would you draft a talented QB like Michael Penix Jr. and let your QB guru coach develop him when you can get a special weapon for a QB who can’t throw the ball?
I fully expect if the best player on the board when the Giants draft next year is a WR, this regime will draft him and roll it back with Jones next year. Yeah, I am not sure they are not just that stupid.

It’s not fun to watch and hasn’t been for a long time. I don’t want to waste my Sundays anymore. I’ll watch the sport but not gonna follow them so closely
He apparently tried really hard to trade up to #3 with the Pats. Really...
A ruthless organisation might have put themselves in a position where they didn't need to trade up. The Giants always do just enough to ensure they remain terrible.

Maybe we are witnessing learning from this very mistake last year. All 3 QBs would have drastically changed the future of this franchise, they won meaningless games. It’s the only logical explanation I can fathom from the GM, it’s ballsy move if that’s what they are doing.
But unless the next regime can acquire a tall, bland, country club approved QB that is actually good, then the next regime will be gone in 2 or 3 years too.

Maybe the next regime will actually try. This one hasn't.
I have nothing to add.

Need more dawgs.

You could see this coming the moment they announced Nabers's name. You can't make this level of stupidity up.

But we got a weapon for Daniel!

Not sure what the point of this is. NE was not moving that pick. Nabers was the right pick, today doesn’t change anything.
Barkley would have still been the old Barkley if he was here. Amazing what a top OL and a passing game can do for a RB

a break Sean.

That alone is a fireable offense. Even if you thought Jones could step up his game, his injury history necessitated getting a quality backup.
