Not closed the gap. Does JS get to pick another coach? Assuming he does as GM's hang around longer than failed coaches.

Dabs has taken control of this offense and benched Kafka, the results are scary bad.

This game reminded me of a few years ago when we had to

put in Glennon and Fromm.

Same feeling. A franchise going nowhere.
This organization is a malignant tumor
j_rud : 10/20/2024 5:17 pm : link
On the off chance they make a good decision and hire the right people, like I believe they did with Daboll, any talent, decision making, or general aptitude for football is killed by working with Mara and his Merry Band of Family Fuckwits.

We'll always have 07 and 11 but they're gonna have to suffice. It's impossible for me to envision this team turning it around. They're a laughingstock, and Mara should be ashamed. If he had any self respect he'd pull every family member with a football related role and stay the fuck out. Anything other than that is ego and hubris.
I never want to see Jones start another game for the Giants.
Fishmanjim57 : 10/20/2024 5:19 pm : link
I know Lock is almost equally bad, but Jones is a proven loser who is so inept he can't even manage to score a TD on his home field.
Get rid of him. Maybe Carolina would take him, it would be like going home for him, we're done with him at MetLife!

A team that just lost 28-3 and can’t score touchdowns is more talented?

How come those talents don’t show up in the game?

They were just bad and sadly the best lineman after the first two series was Ezedu.

The defensive line backups were terrible and the inside backers didn't make any plays on the three big runs.

Something has to change as this is not worth watching.

We wanted to see this offense with a top WR. We got it.

We wanted a better offensive line. We got it.

We wanted Daboll to open up the offense so we could find out what we had in Jones. We got it.

This organization deserves 10 more games of this.

DJ at QB is like an energy vampire.

One thing was apparent, for Jones to throw downfield, he has to have WRs totally wide open as the ball takes too long to get there for small windows. The difference between the zip on passes between Jones and Lock was staggering.

Oh well. Daniel Jones revenge tour next season. You'll see.

I know what some try to say but honestly with a fucking living embodiment of walking depression as your QB everything else is secondary. Jones and his incompetent level of QB play has an effect on every aspect of the team and every result..

Exactly. When your QB is bad it spreads through the rest of the team like a California wildfire.

In this case, it's been a six-year wildfire. We thought we might have it contained in 2022, but then someone through another match and the wind picked back up.
The wildfire didn't sign itself
dibc3 : 10/20/2024 6:12 pm : link
to a big contract. Organizations in this situation that are trying to win should be desparate to find another QB if only to evaluate the rest of the team properly. Giants are the reverse as Terps has covered here many times.

Simms11 : 10/20/2024 6:32 pm : link
win this season. Panthers in Germany, perhaps. We’ve got 5 other home games out of 10. Those are all potentially losses, the way we are playing at home. Two more prime time games on the road, potentially, or most likely, two more losses with how we play in prime time. That’s seven of the losses and three additional road games against very good opponents. Is pride enough to play for at this point or will players be making more business decisions like Banks! IMHO we’re looking at a 3 to 4 win season…..let’s say 4 - 13. That should be good enough to get us into the top three draft picks. It’s now the only thing to look forward too.
I miss

the screaming Daboll.
It’d be the most fire we’ve seen from the team all year.
Players that are too sensitive , have hurt feelings ,or are making business decisions, can be moved along.
The Giants have become ‘a country club ‘ where you can pick up a nice paycheck with moderate effort because the organization is so desperate or a W they hope you can help get them over.
The young guys need to see they’re in the NFL, not the NIL.
I’m not sure
