It’s HOW they lost, and the permeable stench surrounding the team.
If Daboll had a clue, he would move to Lock.
Not that he’s better, but it’s acknowledging Jones is a losing player.
The change would have a trickle down affect on the rest of the team, which should improve attitudes and consistency of effort.
What did you expect to happen today? The season never had a chance w Jones as the QB. Now Thomas is out again. Did you honestly expect Ezeudu to not be total shit? He’s been total shit since day 1. They were never going to protect well enough without Thomas and they won’t for the rest of the year.
It makes zero sense for Jones to play another snap. He should be benched for his play but beyond that the season is over and he will get hurt playing behind this line without Thomas.
This team is rebuilding this year: it’s a waste of a year as they need to pay the price for the dumb jones contract. Next year get ready for a bridge guy like Flacco to come in with a better roster around him as this years draft crop of QBs is shit.
when Ben and Jerry wanted to draft Mahomes. Thank God that didn't happen! John Mara spent too much time believing what he reads here. MacAdoo and Reese haters proclaimed the greatness of everything that has happened since they left, until they turned on every single move. It's all been a disaster.
Oh well. Daniel Jones revenge tour next season. You'll see.
Ah yes, the geniuses of Ben and Jerry. The same duo who elected to role with Ereck Flowers at LT protecting the blindside of an aging, immobile QB, telling hell no to an All Pro LT who wanted to join here, and cherry on top, drafting a receiver only TE in a draft with Ryan Ramczyk available. They had a franchise QB and ruined the team around him and eventually made him shell-shocked with shit tier line play. Oh Ben and Jerry.
The same LT who was coming off All Pro (1st and 2nd teams) and Pro Bowl seasons with the Bengals of all teams who wasn't even asking for a lot (Rams signed him for $36M for over 3 years with $15M guaranteed). But were okay with trotting out Ereck Flowers because he was doing so great.
And paid Brandon Marshall to start at WR after telling Whitworth he was too old.

Yes. Thats right. Signing old players doesnt usually work out and especially *has not worked out for this franchise*.
RE: Quite frankly, I don’t see more then 1 more potential
win this season. Panthers in Germany, perhaps. We’ve got 5 other home games out of 10. Those are all potentially losses, the way we are playing at home. Two more prime time games on the road, potentially, or most likely, two more losses with how we play in prime time. That’s seven of the losses and three additional road games against very good opponents. Is pride enough to play for at this point or will players be making more business decisions like Banks! IMHO we’re looking at a 3 to 4 win season…..let’s say 4 - 13. That should be good enough to get us into the top three draft picks. It’s now the only thing to look forward too.
4-13 might have us drafting 4th or 5th. There are some bad teams this year.
Yes I know Lock and DeVito are worse than Jones but the door has now been opened to move on from Jones.
Yeah I know Jones is starting next week but I am now hopeful we are nearing the end of this awful 6 year experience of watching bad QB play by Jones as a Giant.
Maybe I’m being too optimistic but let’s watch it play out. Daboll knows bad QB play. He looked defeated on the sideline calling plays.
Fingers crossed!!!

He wasn't benched. That was the white flag for a game out of reach. Get Lock a few reps since He's had no game action in a year. When you see Lock get some practice reps with the ones, then pay attention.

Continuing to play Jones WILL get him fired.

The #Giants finished the game with 10 first downs, 119 total net yards, and 43 net passing yards. They punted the ball 11 times.
More punts than 1st downs.
But he’s secretly a mastermind that is soft tanking. I don’t want to read that BS anymore.
The soft tanking was the dumbest shit I ever read on here.

Giants punts: 11
Giants 1st downs: 10
Also 55 plays, 119 total yards.
4 sacks and only 3 points, this is a disgrace

Soft tanking is like whe Washington fans claimed Joe Gibbs had a master plan as he lost game after game when he returned to the team.
Joe Gibbs took a team built by Daniel F. Snyder to the playoffs twice. We wish Daboll was that good.
Guy quit on multiple plays today.
Johnson reportedly had two HC offers last offseason and rejected both. I can’t imagine he’d accept the Giants job.
