What do you think would happen if there was an injury to either of our tackles? I'll tell you --if it was RT, he would slide in. If LT, they would move Eluemunor to the other side and Neal would slide in at RT. If it had been Eluemunor who had gotten hurt rather than Thomas, Neal would be the starting RT.
Q: You really haven't been able to create explosive plays with Daniel for three years. What makes you gives you confidence he can do it?
Daboll: ...we have guys around him who can create explosive plays. We'll just go back to the drawing board to see if we can improve on that...
Man, that answer sounded like a defeated man trying to coach a QB who is no longer hitting his head on his ceiling. He's hitting his head on his floor.
Why is Daboll (and Schoen for that matter) willing to have their reputations trashed by this shell of a QB that never really was more than that?
Why are they willing to go down with the ship on this guy?
Why?
Why?
I just don't get it. They hitched their wagons to this QB room by not drafting a QB or bringing anyone in that realistically had a chance of upgrading the position.
Additionally, they paid $5 million dollars for Lock....a JAG that realistically should only be paid the minimum.
And they wonder why they lose and the fanbase is decreasing.

It strongly suggests Daboll doesn’t have the authority to bench Jones. What a way to run a franchise. John Mara sux.
but how much of yesterday's loss is due to a large extent to poor Oline play?
55 - offensive plays
37 - passing plays
8 sacks, 11 QB hits, and do not know how many pressures.
Half of his drop backs het got sacked or hit
A lot actually. Teams are not afraid of us hitting a big play, allows them to risk attacking our Oline and thus exposing weaknesses.
Jones missing that throw to Slayton (yes, Slayton could have made a great catch) was pathetic. It is the kind of throw that changes games- positively and when missed impacts more than just that drive, it affects everything else after it. The deflating nature of our offense is just so immense it cannot be overstated.

I would not be at all surprised to learn Mara told Schoen/Daboll that they absolutely can’t bench Jones because of the injury clause, and if they want to bench him for performance, they need to talk to him first. After yesterday, Mara can argue the Oline was a disaster and this is not Jones’ fault.
If I am the GM next year and draft a first round QB, I am drafting someone with a personality Mara won’t like so that he keeps his emotions out of my lockerroom.
As Giants’ injuries mount, Jalin Hyatt cracked rib in blowout loss to Eagles — another rough moment for him
Currently, he has only one role... back up RT.
My wife found it under trainwreck under animated gifs. We have a whole team here at Chez Kennedy.
