I thought while he had some truly awful reps, I did see some talent with him in this game. There was a good stretch in the 2nd and 3rd quarters where the pocket was kept clean from his position, on Graham and Sweat, I was much less impressed with Schmitz and Van Roten. Not at all saying he is anywhere close to Andrew Thomas, but I can see him developing some this year into something serviceable. I do hope at some point we replace Van Roten and move maybe Elumeanor to right guard, or Neal to guard to see if we can salvage the latters career here.

OTOH, there's so much wrong right now, this doesn't even make the Giants top 50 list of problems.
You know who is a tackle? Evan Neal and he sucks so bad he can’t even be trusted as a backup.

As noted above , the Giants do not want to put Neal on the field . These aren’t so much desperate times as they are end times . It’s coming to an end .
