Just discovered DVR- Best way to watch these current Giants

I cut the cord and have been using Hulu live for TV.
I did not realize it had a recording function- I still have in my head the old school way of needing a DVR cable box.

So I decided to play golf yesterday (beautiful day at Bethpage) and DVR'ed the game.

And when I watched, I was able to fast forward through all the commercials/half time etc.

I was much less upset then usual about the loss, because at least my day was not wasted and I was still able to watch NYG. I used to watch the game live on my phone while I golfed, but being pissed at the Giants totally ruined my golf game.

I will be doing this for the rest of the season.

the constant breaks in play for any number of reasons are draining for 3 straight hours. And it’s even worse for Giants games that stink and have no drama at all. No reason to give your full attention.

For the past several years, I only watch the NYG via DVR, unless it's a 1 PM or 4 PM game, and then I watch live by splitting my time with NFL RedZone.

Without RedZone, watching a NYG game live is unbearable.

Dru Phillips is a stud. I was a highschool DB (back in my Polk High days) so I have an affinity for DBs.

It doesn't make it better, but just as you can imagine, it definitely makes the pain go by quicker.

Basically, on the rare days where they play well, you can slow it down at your preferred pace. On 90% of the other days, perhaps a bad play warrants three minutes skipped ahead despite the lack of a commercial timeout. : )
