We put so much time, energy, money, and fandom behind the New York Giants and yet, year after year, this team is done by Halloween. Every year the league grows more and more Into having the “dollars first” mindset, making us pay for that fandom. And yet, the product Giants fans receive is lacking. We get 4-6/8 weeks of “hope” and than 44 weeks or so of “wait until next year”. All the while, the NFL is trying to drain our wallets.
I’ve been a Giant’s fan for 45 years and I’m thinking about making a business decision of my own.
We're the battered wives and the New York Football Giants are Ike Turner.
But to answer your question, yes it's worth it.
When do season ticket holders say enough is enough?????
Why? Because all the years of having to eat it from other teams reversed due to winning a championship. In the meantime we have to hope players like Nabers, Nubin, Phillips, Johnson, Tracy, Banks, and Tibs continue to show improvement throughout this year. They could be ....SHOULD be the group that helps get the Giants back on top.

beyond bizarre analogy
If I were spending any money on the Giants whatsoever at this point in the game, I'd seriously be asking myself "why am I doing this?"
Watch when you want to. Don't watch when you have something else you'd rather be doing. The vast majority of the games from the last 10 years have been miserable, boring, and completely unmemorable.
In 2008 I missed some games because I was working in Europe. I do regret missing those games. Now, I miss some games because I'm an adult with kids and other hobbies. I don't regret it at all.
But it's just not about the QB, this is some kind of Mickey Mouse offense Daboll has strung together and it's painful to watch. Reminds me exactly of when Fromm and Glennon were playing and it's just boring AF. In this day and age of offensive football, we should be scoring more than 12 ppg. Kafkas offense was way better than this shit Daboll is serving so in essences, I'm voting with my wallet and I'm refusing to watch this garbage product.
What I do is one of two things.
1. I'm not planning my Sundays around the game anymore. If I need to record it, get home during the game and catch up by skipping commercials and half time or even watch the whole thing later in the day I'll do that.
2. If I can get something else done at the same time I'll do it. Yesterday I cleaned out the garage while listening to Papa and Banks on the Sirius App. I'd never have done that 15 years ago. I would have been glued to the TV.
I do agree that it beats you down but we have to be strong. That blue and white jersey with the hint of red means something to all of us. The players don't really bleed the same blue that we do, but if you want to enjoy the highs I believe that you need to suffer the lows.
The Giants will be back eventually and I'll be there to enjoy it.

You're not going to get "buried in blue" with that kind of attitude. ;>)
The majority of the games they can take or leave and just assume a victory.
We'll get there by 2045
