Inside BBI with John and Eric look back at the debacle that was the 28 – 3 loss to the Eagles. The focus being on where the team is now and where the heck it is going from here.
Daniel Jones, how can we keep rolling him out there and think ANYONE believes in him, respects him or the Giants. Where is this franchise heading and how the hell can it right this titanic of a disaster?
Is Bill Belichick making his play for the job? Is Mike Vrabel waiting in the wings?
What about the players, who is safe and who isn’t (which would be everyone if we see a regime change). What is Daboll doing with his sticking with Jones as the Quarterback but less than enthusiastic support when questioned about him?
Giants talk Smart – Tough – Dependable, hear what John and Eric think of the Giants S T D motto!

Today it is the realization that we need immediate change and it has to be someone who can pull this organization out of the ground and place it back on firm footing.
Thank you Guys!!!
I already have. If they win, I watch the extended highlights on the computer that night. If they win two games in a row, I'll watch the next game on TV live.
Not holding my breath ...
The Giants will move off Jones after this year, but it's way too late. And it'll cost Schoen & Daboll their jobs. Never proactive, always reactive.
Giants 7 games into the season a non-factor
1) No brews?
2) Eric taking about Giants being relegated had me laughing.
Great job guys. I'm about a half hour in and it has been a great listen so far.

Oh I'm drinking. I have to at this point.
I don't think it was too bad.
I thought it would be more like this...

More importantly, stop going to the games!
I see this team with significantly more talent and has been competitive in most games, with still some glaring holes.
Not satisfied with where team is but not going to overreact to this game. Vikes and Bengals (despite their record) are playoff quality teams.
Biggest issue is the offense - is that Jones, Thomas injury/Ezudu at LT, Daboll's playcalling? Don't know.
Is Vrabel a possible replacement? I would not think so unless he can bring in a can't miss OC. He also wore out his welcome with GM. Based on reports he may have started taking on BB type attitude w/o the Lombardis. BB an option - no one more qualified, but he could walk away at a moment's notice. Pete Carroll.
Gonna watch every game I can and try and see if I can figure out the stuff I don't know. This week will be a very good test to see if they can generate any offense against a good defense. Is there a change coming at LT? And we'll see what film room, dog cussing, and gut check can do for the defense that embarrassed themselves last week.
He'll say something like "that's what we felt gave us the best chance to win".
Even though it didn't work at all, making it clearly a bad strategy.
You absolutely can. Banks doesn't get decided who the QB is and then decide how much effort he plays with..
There is weight in this. You watch Jones struggle weekly to do his job and face no recourse your going to get worse efforts from other players.
This is how Daboll loses the team.
Stop digging in. Jones is toast. Hold him accountable and then you can hold the rest of the team to the same standard.
So why aren't they making a switch at QB? I can think of several viable reasons, but does it really matter? I'm not going to sit here and put my emotions into this team week after week and the more the losses the better.

appreciate the honesty but in order for us to be doing this when things turn we gotta still be around. It helps to have listens, views to get guests, media stuff and quite honestly get some real cred.
BTW- I know media folks actually listen and watch us..

Like Eric and John said, the minute Daniel Jones runs onto the field the team seems almost INSTANTLY deflated. One he has his first bad play, everyone groans. No one wants to watch Daniel Jones play football.
I thought it was a typo. It isn't.
If things perk up and Eric and John say there is something worth watching, I can stream the delayed games. Otherwise, I have other interests and see no reason to get the life sucked out of me, for what, entertainment?
I give money to BBI to do my part to keep the great content going. I hate all the negativisms and told you so bs on BBI, but the site is a treasure and I'll do my part.
I listen to the podcasts and like and subscribe, that is my civic duty, but it is not like there is a real reason ... there are only so many ways to describe specifically why we suck.
When they pry the remote from my cold dead hand!

Sure, the Titanic sunk and all, boo-hoo, but the film is still revered for all time.
I mean, you jump, I jump, am I right?
Can't we leave Ozempic-boy alone already?
Hasn't he been sliced and diced, cut and dried, roasted, toasted, fileted and vetted?
I say , enough!
...
when things turn (sic) around...
John, some of us are getting on in years, so this turn around, we hope it comes along sooner rather than later...
Yes, we were young, and our hearts were an open book, in '81, so yes, we were a spoiled lot...
But the hooks went in deep, and now the twilight of our years is necessarily tinged with sorrow.
So let's all row in the same direction and get this back on track!

But at this point, I can't get motivated to give it a listen. Get us a real QB is all that I care about. You add in a good QB who challenges defenses in the vertical game, and this would look like a whole different team. But when everyone knows they're just buying their time, you aren't going to see the energy you need to compete, from anyone. Defense knows they need to stop them over and over again because the offense doesn't score any point. The wide receivers know if they get open down field, the QB either won't throw it to them, or will throw a bad bass. Underneath and in the running game, they know they're going to get hit right away because the defense doesn't have to take the deep 3rd of the field seriously.
So why aren't they making a switch at QB? I can think of several viable reasons, but does it really matter? I'm not going to sit here and put my emotions into this team week after week and the more the losses the better.

'When things turn around?' John, I know you have 9 children. Maybe one of your grandchildren will be hosting 'Inside BBI' in 2148 or so 'when things turn around', Haha.
I am watching these games with apathy.
Some irony to add:
Thomas Andrews designed the ship that sank
Losing Andrew Thomas is going to sink the Giants

Except it’s 2 totally different scenarios (and to be clear I’m in favor of benching jones). Jones is playing hard there’s no question about that, he just isn’t good. Banks is not giving effort- totally different thing to hold one accountable for.
I get what you’re saying, but this isn’t pee wee ball. They are paid to do their job. What if Banks had laid out Hurts and he fumbled for a return TD? Defenses have won championships. See 2002 Tampa Bay, 2000 Baltimore. Their QBs were a bit better than Jones but not by much.
You hold all players accountable. Just because they don’t throw the ball doesn’t mean they can’t win a game single handedly. Or create the spark that ignites a rally, etc…
