Former Cardinals first-round pick D.J. Humphries, who is recovering from a torn ACL suffered last season, is visiting today with the New York Giants. The Giants lost OT Andrew Thomas to season-ending foot surgery, and Humphries played left tackle in Arizona for nine seasons.
And move Neal to G and see if he can be a + player there.
However, a potted ficus tree would be better at LT than Ezuedo who just sucks!!!!
John, I'd rather watch YOU play LT recovering from an ACL tear than Ezeudu. I'd at least be able to find some comedy in that.

It is the middle of October. Healthy and in-shape guys cost draft picks.

Did they really need to see Ezudeu play to move forward with finding another option?
Plan A use disappointing 3rd round Guard to play LT.
Plan B sign injured/rehabbing vet off the street to play LT.
Plan C/D/E whenever they get to it is to re install Neal at RT and have Eluemunor play LT.
After we spent all offseason saying that Neal would be the RT and Eluemunor would be LG and yet still the swing tackle.
Were you at his workout for the Giants? Do you have access to his medical records? Of course not, yet that doesn't stop you from making definitive statements about his recovery and current health status.
Gotta love BBI.

An ACL ?? No!

I think the only definitive statement was that Humphries is currently coming off an ACL injury that ended his season last year.
As far as I know, that's indisputable fact.

His definitive statement was "Guy coming off an ACL. No!" as in, don't sign him because he's coming off an ACL. I don't know how else one can interpret that. He shared his opinion on whether Humphries should be signed with absolutely no knowledge of his workout or current medical condition.
As far as I know, those are also indisputable facts.
Hope they will develop eventually.
I am not sold on Schoen.
We have a QB who is limited. In that case you build a run blocking o line with a good back (Barkley) and go play action pass and RPO.
Instead we build a pass blocking o line and let our best back go and try to win by throwing first and often.
Does that make sense to anyone?
I don't have a subscription, but piecing together end of season rankings and other stats from twitter:
-2023: 62.5 overall (68.4 pass-blocking), started 15/17, ankle injury and torn ACL final game
-2022: 1 pressure (80.5 pass-blocking), started 8/17, hamstring and back injury
-2021: 67.8 overall, started 16/17, pro bowl
-2020: 88.3 overall, played every snap
Seems stronger in pass pro. Injuries are piling up.
Anything that hurts that goal, is a big no from me.
