Yes, but he had but had two hands on it cleanly. Tough catch, but good WRs(even mediocre ones) catch that.
Clearly you have not been cleared in the back and exposed
That wasn't my quote, but I agree you can't blame Slay there. That was a tough hit and catch... would have been nice though with two hands on it to come down with it.
Daryl Stingley, that's how it happened - for all those armchair warriors blaming Slayton for not coming down with an errant throw. Its not that Jones hit Slayton's hands, it was solely Slayton's effort to get his hands on it and then get leveled.

but that pass shows his lack of instincts in spades and he did something similar in his very first start. We really need him gone. A 6th year pro should have made that pass without any hesitation or really any thinking. It is automatic for an instinctive QB.

You jackass, Stingley dove for a pass
Yeah, that was a bad pass by Jones but it wasn't at all like the Stingley play.
That might have been one of Burn’s easiest sacks ever!
If you’re blaming Slay you don’t know what you’re watching
Two things can be true. Not a good throw, but two hands cleanly on the ball.
section I'd like to see you hold a football in your hands at full reach and then take a missile into your central clavicle.
Let me know when section makes millions to do just that
You are another fool. He had both hands on the ball and his feet were also on the ground. It was not a good throw, but you see catches on that play several times a week.
Yeah not a good throw, but sometimes your $6 mill WR needs to hang on to the ball.

Aikman succinctly explaining why Jones is just not an NFL QB.
Yea, great job by Troy there. It’s sad that we’re somehow in year 6 of this.
For sure. Ball should have been on Slayton as he broke open. Well done Troy

You can when your defense's tackling is ass.
You jackass, Stingley dove for a pass

The D has talent
Stafford
Flacco
Darnold
Purdy
Winston
Mayfield
Etc
We would be at least a 4 win team right now.
