Nabers needs to catch it, but it is another off target throw that makes a WR stop running to catch the ball. Same thing happened on the throw to Slayton earlier in the drive. Wide open in the middle of the field, and he has to stop and go backwards to get another poorly thrown ball.
BUT, go back and look at vintage Eli, even Eli with OBJ, hits his Wr's in their hands moving forward. Jones just is off or just puts the ball where a catch could happen but not much after that..
I know , I know but it is what I have been saying since episode one of our Podcast...

The Slayton throw was a good one bc there was a defender in the middle of the field sitting in zone coverage. Jones could not lead him there. The other throws were a bit off as you said but not terrible. The deep ball has been better today.

Nabers did not stop, slowed a bit, but he did not stop. Just ctch the damn ball
Keep running your mouth
Bad night for him.
Be thankful.
If he catches that in WSH it only costs draft position.
It has nothing to do with DJ. We are successful in running the ball tonight. Tracy is kicking ass.
Playing to lose ! Better draft pick though
It was a drop. Also jones threw it way behind him and nabers is probably thinking that in from his college QB he gets that ball in stride and scores.
what do you mean now... it started at the end of the Washington game and has been every game he has played.
Ah, yeah, they have been moving the ball.

Oh come the fuck on - that was a clear drop.
He’s generally been good for one crucial late-game drop. Third time this season.

Agreed. At least catch and get the first. If in stride it’s a big play
