Honestly it’s just tough

Watching someone who cannot really play the QB position try to do it for season after season…it’s just a sigh at this point
Aikman explained Jones’s issue well…..
Simms11 : 10/28/2024 9:21 pm : link
He’s just not getting the ball out quick enough because he wants to see it’s open before throwing. If he threw that quicker, it’s probably a reception, even though it was a bit high.
Jones first bad pass

Aikman just nailed that analysis of Jones. It's not always bad plays that limit an offense. It's the lack of anticipation that prevents big plays from happening.

An effective QB has to see things like 2 seconds in advance and react. Our guy wants to see it first then throw so he's almost always a beat behind.

+1. The guy just does everything wrong. He's the least natural QB I've ever seen play.

Yup.
That is why
jvm52106 : 10/28/2024 9:22 pm : link
Jones sucks..

You throw that ball quicker and lower and Slayton might be one on one for a possible Td.

Instead you put the receiver at risk and we end up punting..

We're not a bad team. We're an improving team

Jones has to throw perfect passes
JT039 : 10/28/2024 9:22 pm : link
God forbid a ball that hit the WR in both hands be caught.
.
Banks : 10/28/2024 9:22 pm : link
even though he waited, it's still likely a reception if he didn't throw so damn high
Eli had plenty of bad throws
cpgiants : 10/28/2024 9:22 pm : link
But Plaxico and Nicks would catch them. We need better wide receivers.

Read the DBs and throw to the windows.

And
