Was that left side designed to snowplow the defense? What happened when DJ confusingly threw that ball and everyone was saying "WTF?" What was the intention of that design? Pardon my ignorance.
DJ can't run well either. He has no torque when he moves in the pocket to get out. He looks bad physically - no torsional power below or up top for a dime throw.
And then there is his brain...
This coaching staff and especially Daboll has no idea how they look to the NFL world.....Like complete idiots IMHO.
I don't know if that's on the linemen (possibly) or Jones (probably), but it was execution not play design that was the disaster.
There is no explanation to describe what happened on that play.
Snapped too early? Who cares? The OL is looking at the ball as it's being snapped. And NO ONE moves.
How do you explain that?
Execution was off from the snap.

Looked like a Big 12/CFL play
It was meant to confuse the defense but confused the offense instead

Yep. Last night’s 2-point conversion folly is going to replace this Colts formation as the NFL blooper reel highlight.
Daboll makes so many questionable calls each week.

To be fair the best coaches in the NFL do this every week
Quote:
There is no benefit there. You’re down by 14. Go for 1 your down by 7, if you score again you can go for the win with the 2 pointer. You lose momentum there by missing the 2.

And they have the best teams to execute calls like this...
