as someone who is concerned with the athletic limitations and not that familiar with him it's great to hear specific things he does well. Nubin and Tracy both seem to have a lot of fans.
tried to watch their content leading up to the draft, but they had zero feel for the Giants and I find the guy on the left a bit pretentious.
they arent good at following the teams but they are pretty good at analyzing players and unique relative to the rest of the draft analysis landscape because they have a full database of stats they are tracking. they seem to know better than most analysts exactly which players excel in man coverage vs zone coverage, slot vs wide, because those are stats they track.
in the 2022 CFB season they had Puka Nacua as one of the highest graded receivers. a lot of the NFL and draft evaluation process missed on Puka but they had him (and a bunch of others like tank dell, rashee rice, demorio douglas, and josh downs who outperformed higher draft picks).
But I will chose to be optimistic with Nupin. No he's not the athlete MckInney was, but by all accounts he's instinctive and ball hawk...The best Safety in the NFL, Winfield played at Minnesota too. Heres hoping Nupin does well as well in his footsteps

ive been in the same boat and can swing either way depending the last notable stat ive seen, and to my point above re: PFF doing well to identify puka nacua, one of the reasons the league was down on him was because he tested just as poorly as nubin. PFF is high on Nubin because he was their highest graded coverage safety so if Nubin ends up a success despite the athletic testing just like puka that will be a nice win for pff.

Giants didn’t use McKinney correctly. He is going to really shine.
